Frequently Asked Questions
Will I get motion sick?
Our goal is for you to have fun, so we want to help you avoid getting motion sickness. Some people are more susceptible than others, but by acting early and letting your pilot know as soon as you feel queasy or the beginnings of motion sickness the better. Your pilot can then ease off manoeuvres to try and ensure you don't get worse. Because of this most people will not be sick on their Adventure Flight.
How much time should I allow?
Make sure you arrive on or before your booking time. From check-in it will take 30 minutes before you take flight as you will need to read and sign a waiver form and have a pre-flight safety and flight briefing with your pilot. Allow some time after your flight to debrief with you pilot, have a cool drink, and come down a little from your high before driving off. So for a Short Adventure Flight allow 1.25 hours and for a Premium Adventure flight allow 1.5 hours at the airport.
Can my family and friends come?
Absolutely! Friends and family are encouraged to be there as you check-in and walk out to your Warbird, which is a great time for a photo opportunity. There is an elevated viewing deck at our Dubbo base to watch the action from that is less than 200m from the main runway. Refreshments are available to purchase for your guests to enjoy as they await your return. When they see the smile on your face they will want to fly next.
What if the weather is bad?
We will be monitoring the weather and if it is unsuitable for flight, we will call you to let you know and arrange another time for your Adventure Flight.
How long are Gift Flight Tickets valid for?
Flight Tickets are valid for 6 months from the date they were purchased. This expiry date will be written on each ticket.
